It’s Thursday and for the last 8 months, on a Thursday, I have been featuring guest bloggers sharing their images, experience and knowledge on Photo-Africa.
Actually, it does not sound quite right saying I ‘featured’ them as all the guest bloggers I have had on this site are amazing photographers in their own right and I was privileged enough them to share on this site. And isn’t that what photography should be about? Sharing?
The feedback on guest blogger Thursday has been truly amazing and I am now in the process of looking for photographers who want to share their images, ideas and inspirations from September onwards.
I have given myself the month of August to get the next series of guest bloggers lined up so if you have any suggestions of who you would like to see as a guest blogger on Photo-Africa, or if you want to be a guest blogger yourself, drop me a line.
So what about the next few weeks?
Well, to keep the spirit of sharing on a Thursday going I will be alternating between showcasing various photographer’s websites and doing wildlife photography tutorials. That means two Thursday’s of sharing and two Thursdays of learning.
To kick things off I have put together a number of websites that you need to check out. Whether you wait until Friday afternoon when the boss has left the office or check them out on Sunday morning with a cup of coffee, these websites include some truly fantastic wildlife images.
Some of the photographers I have met, some I will be meeting soon while others I would love to meet. In some way, no matter how small, each of these photographers have given me a it of inspiration along the way! Quite a few have also been guest bloggers on Photo-Africa. One thing that all these photographers have in common is a undoubtable passion for wildlife photography.

Before you get upset and ask ‘but what about this or that photographer’ – this is by no means a definitive list of my favorite photographers but I needed to stop somewhere. But you don’t have to! Please feel free to share these links with friends, colleagues and families. Also, if you have any site suggestions for the next website sharing session let me know.
