The Workshop
During day one of the workshop we will look at the technical, creative and ethical aspects of wildlife photography.

Topics that will be covered includes:

- Principles and ethics of wildlife photography.
- Equipment choices and how they wil affect your images.
- Animal behaviour and anticipating ‘the shot’.
- Correct versus creative exposure in wildlife photography.
- Composition in wildlife photography.
– Difficult lighting situations.
- Working your subject and telling a visual story.
- Processing your wildlife images.

The second component of this photographic workshop includes a day trip to the nearby Pilanesberg National Park.

The colorful hues, varied habitats, panoramas, and wildlife viewing will delight and entertain even the most seasoned of photographers. The day kicks of with an early departure from Johannebsurg in order to get into the park at first light.

Breakfast will be held in one of the hides overlooking the Mankwe Dam, providing excellent photo opportunities for a variety of birds, reptiles and mammals after which you will spend the day photographing the wildlife and landscapes of the Pilanesberg accompanied by two professional wildlfie photographers and two experienced field guides.
